Innate Foundations
Welcome to Innate Foundations! My name is Jason Bullock. I am embarking on the exciting adventure of creating new and remarkable daily experiences for myself and those I have the good fortune of meeting. My interests are varied and vast. It is my hope that this website will partially enumerate them, illuminate their common themes, and help weave them into a tapestry that can assist each of us in living happy, fulfilling, productive, loving, and ethical daily lives.
Ever wonder what chiropractic care, hypnotherapy, and a divorce support group have in common? Short answer: me! Slightly longer answer: innate intelligence, adaptation, resilience, personal responsibility, and change.
Change can be a very difficult process. This is unfortunate. It is also a little surprising, because as cliche as it is, change is about the only constant in life. Sometimes this difficulty is rooted in our attachment to people, places, things, or feelings from our past. Consciously and unconsciously, we all seek the familiar, whether it is good for us or not. Other times the obstacles to change are related to a physical or psychological issue, a fear of failure, or uncertainty as to where to begin or how the change will proceed. Commonly, it is a combination of these factors that complicates change.
My desire with Innate Foundations is to help people navigate the changes that will take them from where they are, to where they want to be. I want to help people understand that change doesn’t always have to be a long, drawn-out process. And it doesn’t have to be difficult.
I wonder if you can recognize that changes, even big changes, can happen in the blink of an eye. I wonder if you appreciate that the ease with which they transpire is largely up to you. I wonder if you realize that the innate intelligence that dwells within you already knows what you need to do, and how you need to do it. All you need to do is remember how to listen. Then be willing to act.
As a general principle, we manage one energy by adding an opposing energy. For instance, if we wish to mitigate a cold environment, we add heat. If we wish to reduce hatred, we add love. While this can be challenging, it is easily recognizable that adding more hatred is not going to be effective. Similarly, in navigating change, it is critical that we remain rooted in solid, immovable principles – that we work from our innate foundations.
Though we are not all gifted with the same skills, we are all equally entitled to life and freedom, provided we respect the lives and freedoms of those with whom we share this world. We all (with very few exceptions) know the difference between right and wrong, and we all have the free will to align our actions with that innate understanding. The vast majority of humans are social, compassionate beings that seek to provide for those they love and live in harmony with those around them.
We may not be of this world, but we are unquestionably in it. Our health, happiness, and wholeness are a function of our relationship with the natural world around us. We are made to move through this world and experience it fully. The more faithfully we honor our origins, our relationships with each other, our reliance on unadulterated food, water, and air, and our communion with the natural world we inhabit, the more we will thrive. These are some of the anchors that can help secure us in this ever vacillating world. They are simple to understand and simple to live by.
Have you been putting up with nagging aches and pains for long enough? Perhaps you are sick of feeling lethargic and you know (innately) that diet and exercise are absolutely critical, but you have no idea where to start. Straight forward, natural solutions are all around you. Why is Chiropractic the natural choice for preventive healthcare? Visit the Services page to find out, or select “Contact” below!
Do you, like so many others, suffer with vague feelings of unease, or perhaps from more acute anxiety? Are you plagued by addictive behaviors, self sabotage, phobias, or troubled sleep? Maybe you just seek to feel more confident, focused, or relaxed. Find out why hypnotherapy is so effective for treating these kinds of issues (and more) in a relaxing and rapid process by visiting the Services page now, or by selecting “Contact” below.
Maybe you went to bed seemingly happily married one night, and the next day you learned that you had shared your bed with your spouse for the last time. Or maybe your marriage had been rocky for years. Find out why community is vitally important. Visit the Services page for more information on my divorce support group, or select “Contact” below.
I look forward to hearing from any and all of you, and I can’t help but wonder just what it is that we might build together in time!
